Jayeshkumar Harjibhai Kahodariya

I am actively involved in agricultural extension and farmer-centric development activities under ATMA, Gujarat, currently handling Botad district in the state of Gujarat, with a strong focus on sustainable and organic/natural farming systems. My work includes capacity building of farmers through training programs, demonstrations, and field-level advisory services. I support the promotion of organic, natural, and climate-resilient farming practices aimed at improving soil health and enhancing farm productivity.

I collaborate closely with farmers, researchers, and institutions to facilitate effective technology transfer and adoption of best agricultural practices. My activities emphasize reduced chemical inputs, integrated nutrient management, and ecologically sound farming approaches. I also contribute to awareness and outreach programs on organic certification, value addition, and market linkages.

I am actively engaged in implementing government-supported agricultural development programs at the grassroots level, with a strong emphasis on inclusive rural development and farmer empowerment. I am committed to advancing sustainable agriculture in alignment with global organic principles and seek to strengthen international collaboration and knowledge exchange through IFOAM.
