Egyptian Biodynamic Association

The Egyptian Biodynamic Association (EBDA), now Demeter Egypt, was established in 1994. The EBDA is an independent non-governmental organization that supports farmers in Egypt to shift from conventional practices to sustainable, organic, and biodynamic agriculture.
Over the past decades, the EBDA is guiding more than 1300 farmers from around all governorates in Egypt towards organic and biodynamic agriculture. EBDA was able to increase the living standard of its member farmers through the well coordinated market access of organically produced raw materials.
