---|---|
- Set of principles and attributes | Our experience and knowledge in developing food guidelines (Diet for a Green Planet) can contribute to developing sustainable food systems. |
- Actual data on sustainable production and consumption | SBFI will share peer-reviewed articles and reports on sustainable production and consumption based on Diet for a Green Planet. Together with Ecological Regenerative Agriculture and Sustainable Food Societies, the Diet for a Green Planet concept has the potential to influence all aspects and actors of the food chain. |
- Training and education tools | We will continue publishing educational materials such as handbooks and articles for stakeholders at various levels – farmers, consumers and researchers. SBFI initiated EU-projects BERAS and BERAS Implementation. |
- Case studies of food systems | SBFI will continue working towards sustainable food systems using case studies. |
- Workshops/roundtables | SBFI will continue working towards sustainable food systems using workshops, seminars and peer-reviewed papers. |
- Clusters/knowledge sharing | Expertise from BERAS Implementation (2010-2013) - a transnational, partly EU-funded project (Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013). The project had a supporting network within the whole food chain. BERAS Implementation had 24 partners from nine countries around the Baltic Sea and 35 associated organisations including representatives from Russia and Norway. |
