| 1 - Set of principles and attributes | Uluguru Green Gold (UGG) elaborates principles for processes and decisions for a transparent and transformative value chain economy. All participants in the value chain agree on income for every chain menber and for use of the profit from export sale of refined organic coffee to the benefit of producer`s local society. |
| 5 - Training and education tools | UGG will develop a website to show the principles of the learning and enterpreneurship center (LEC) in remote Luale in Uluguru Mountains. The center, with demo plots, connects research-based best practices in sustainable use and refining of local resources with stakeholders from local communities and their primary and secondary schools. |
| 6 - Case studies of food systems | In Uluguru Mountains, deforestation, monoculturess and slash-and-burn cultivation without untilled periods for soil harm water systems and degrade soil fertility. LEC and primary school centers` activities supply tools for stakeholders to transform local agricultural and food systems through demonstration and implementation of agroforestry, cultivation systems with plant cover and composting. |
